Demetri Manabat is a rising spoken word artist born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He uses his experiences with grief, love, and loss to help those fighting similar battles across the globe. Demetri is a member of the Spotlight Poetry Slam Team, coached by Dr. Javon Johnson. He has been recognized by Upworthy and Associated Press for his work, and he has accumulated over 20 million views on his personal social media platforms for his poetry.
